Since its creation as part of the Saving Newborn Lives program in 2010, the Healthy Newborn Network (HNN) has had one key mission; to bring together global maternal and newborn health professionals and practitioners to advance the newborn agenda by providing a platform for knowledge sharing, including access to a rich resource library and database. For over a decade, this network has included a membership component, which allows members to upload resources, blogs, news, and events to the site, contributing to the global knowledge base. Additionally, members have been able to promote their organizations through the partnership platform, broadening the reach of country-based organizations.

Beginning October 2, 2023, HNN will be moving into a new era. In an effort to make uploading content more accessible to all of our users, HNN will be removing the membership component of the website. Users will no longer need to create an account and log in before they can upload new content – this feature will be available to all users via a content upload form. Additionally, our partners pages will be deactivated, as they have become increasingly outdated and difficult to manage.

This is just the start of a series of changes and updates planned for the next year. All of our intended updates are designed to improve your experience with HNN, through more user-friendly features, increased accessibility, and an expanded thematic focus.

While we work to improve HNN, we’d love to hear from you! Do you have any feedback on these changes? Are there other changes you’d like to see to HNN? Click here to answer these questions, and provide any additional feedback you may have!

Thank you for your commitment to HNN, and for being a part of this journey with us. We are excited for the next phase!
