The pressing need to address Perinatal Mental Health (PMH) globally has garnered increasing attention in recent years, particularly as the COVID-19 pandemic further worsened mental health outcomes for women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
A 2021 technical consultation on PMH in low- and middle-income countries with about 700 stakeholders from around the globe led to a clear call for a common global vision and framework for PMH programming, as well as a shared PMH research agenda, behind which the mental health; maternal, newborn, and child health; and maternal/perinatal mental health communities could coalesce.
Join MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership and global experts on PMH for a webinar to share and explore new resources for PMH, including a global Theory of Change, and to discuss how to align behind a shared global vision to improve maternal and newborn health.
