The International Maternal Newborn Health Conference (IMNHC) 2026 will take place March 23-26, 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya, under the theme “Moving forward. Together.” Building on the momentum from IMNHC 2023 in Cape Town—which brought together nearly 1,800 delegates from 95 countries for the first global maternal newborn health gathering in almost a decade—this critical conference will mark a pivotal moment for the international MNH community to regroup and chart the path forward. With over 60 countries having addressed MNH priorities and commitments since 2023, IMNHC 2026 comes at a time when prioritizing maternal and newborn health amidst unprecedented global health disruptions requires urgent collective action.

The conference program will feature an exciting mix of technical, programmatic, interactive, and innovative sessions designed to drive urgent action for the health of mothers and newborns and the prevention of stillbirths. Participants will investigate current progress and remaining challenges, exchange the most effective tools and evidence-based practices, foster accountability mechanisms, and unlock new funding and partnerships to transform the future of maternal and newborn health. The event will bring together an inclusive global community of advocates, implementers, civil society organizations, researchers, and technical experts to take stock of progress, adapt strategies, create new solutions, and strengthen commitments toward achieving shared goals for 2030 and beyond.
